Moving Along

Welcome to Trippy Monday’s, where I go over 3 things that caught my attention from this past week. Enjoy!

(1) I submitted a session idea for Wonderland Conference that’s happening in November of this year. After about two or so months of waiting after I submitted the idea, they finally added it to their website. It hasn’t officially been accepted yet, though, now it needs to get voted on. The session is called “Ethically Portraying Psychedelics in the Media” and will focus on what members of the media owe to each other and to the public when it comes to discussing psychedelics.

I would greatly appreciate your support in getting my idea accepted in order to speak at the conference about something I’m passionate about. I’ve never spoken publicly in a setting like this about psychedelics, and I’m excited to even have the opportunity to do so.

Here is the link to go vote for my idea: https://wonderlandconference.com/session-voter/

Scroll down to find “Ethically Portraying Psychedelics in the Media” and click the button that says, “I want to see this.” While you’re at it feel free to give my friend Sofie’s idea, “Witches And Drugs: A Brief Overview of Medieval Hallucinogenic” a vote too.

(2) I came across this quote and it really resonated with me:

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

Carl Jung

(3) My first week of microdosing again went really well. I took 165 mg of psilocybin each morning starting on Monday and ending on Thursday, giving myself four days on and three days off on the weekend. I felt more present and more intentional moving through my days especially when I was on, and still even a little bit when I was off, but there was definitely a noticeable difference. The dose was actually a bit high for me, so this week I’m changing my dose to 125 mg. Overall, though, I think it’s helping me feel more authentic and creative.
